As we celebrate British Flowers Week this month, the flower farm is finally bursting into life. After months of planning, sowing, planting and nurturing, it feels wonderful to see colour appearing across the plot and to know that the busiest and most beautiful part of the season is just beginning.
One of our biggest achievements this spring has been completing the rabbit fencing. It may not be the most glamorous project, but it has been one of the most important! With the fencing finally finished, we can now start planting up the additional ten beds we've created this year.
These new beds will be filled with some of our favourite "cut and come again" flowers, including dahlias, zinnias, cosmos and amaranth. These hardworking plants will keep producing blooms throughout the summer, providing armfuls of beautiful, sustainably grown flowers for our customers and local florists.

Flower Subscriptions
If you love having fresh seasonal flowers in your home, now is the perfect time to join one of our flower subscriptions.
Subscribers receive regular bunches of freshly picked, British-grown flowers throughout the season. It's the best way to enjoy the changing colours, textures and scents of the flower farm while supporting local, sustainable flower growing.
Subscriptions also make wonderful gifts for birthdays, anniversaries or simply to brighten someone's week.
If you are thinking about signing up, hopefully this example of our June bouquets will make up your mind. You can book a package that suits you via the website.

Pick Your Own Flowers
One of the most magical experiences on the farm is wandering through the flowers and choosing your own blooms to take home.
Our intimate Pick Your Own sessions give you the chance to slow down, enjoy the countryside and create a bouquet that's completely personal to you. Whether you come with friends, family or simply enjoy a peaceful hour surrounded by flowers, it's a wonderful way to connect with nature and appreciate the beauty of the season. At any one time there will be no more than 6 people in a session, making it a very personal experience.
NEW! We are now including the option for groups of six to include an afternoon tea with your visit for an additional £18 per person.
Spaces are limited, so please book via the website if you'd like to visit.

Summer Workshops
Our workshops continue to be one of the highlights of the season. There's something very special about watching people arrive feeling a little uncertain and leave relaxed, confident and carrying home something they've created themselves.
Whether you're looking to learn new skills, spend time with friends or simply enjoy a few hours immersed in flowers, we'd love you to join us.
I am constantly adding new events so please keep an eye on our website and social channels for upcoming dates.
New for July: Flowers & Hand Massage Experience

We're delighted to be introducing a brand-new wellbeing event in July.
This special experience combines the joy of flowers with the restorative benefits of a luxurious hand massage using beautiful Neal's Yard Remedies products. Guests will enjoy selecting flowers to take home while also taking time to relax, unwind and enjoy a little self-care.
The Neal's Yard ethos of natural, sustainable products fits perfectly with our own values, making this a lovely collaboration that celebrates wellbeing, nature and taking time for yourself.

Thank You
As always, thank you for supporting local flower farming. Every bouquet purchased, workshop booked and subscription taken helps us continue growing beautiful British flowers sustainably, while caring for our soil, wildlife and local community.
We look forward to welcoming many of you to the farm over the coming weeks.
With best wishes
